Since its summer, I’ve been in the home improvement mood – and this time, I’m turning my attention over to the counter tops in my kitchen and bathroom. They are outdated, old, and ugly! Well, I’ve been doing some research and have decided that Granite Countertops are obviously going to offer the best appearance and longevity – but that of course is going to come with a price tag! How much you end up paying for custom cut granite really depends on who you end up going with. After all of the research I’ve conducted, here is what I’ve found in a nut shell.
Granite – It’s Worth It
Custom cut granite can cost quite a bit, when you add in the labor and installation charges. But don’t let that deter you – the lifespan of granite is very impressive to say the least. Maintenance and cleaning is also somewhat of a breeze. In the end, the pros far outweigh the cons – and I would definitely recommend that any homeowner looking to improve the look and feel of their kitchen or bathroom, as well as add a ton of value to their home, to go with Granite for their remodeling project.
But who should you rely on for the fabrication? Well, personally I think that is easy to answer. I’ve done some research, and one of the most well-known suppliers here in Virginia is Granite Source of Richmond. They have a stocked warehouse close to the city with a gorgeous showroom to help make the right choice even easier. If you are in the area, I’m not sure why you would use any other supplier or company!
